Overview
For a rented unit, a room the landlord will not let you drill, or a study that is only used at weekends. The window kit fits a sliding or casement window in about ten minutes.
Two things to know before buying: a single hose portable is less efficient than a split unit of the same rating, and it is louder, because the compressor is in the room with you rather than outside on a bracket.
